GLLC co-hosted webinars on data centers and Indigenous treaty law

In December 2024, the GLLC co-hosted webinars with CSG Midwestern Legislative Conference Energy and Environmental Committee and Midwest-Canada Relations Committee.

The first session covered the expected growth of data centers in the Midwest and the impact on water use and management. For a recap of the session, slides, and recording, follow this link.

The second webinar focused on Indigenous Treaty Law in the U.S. and Canada, covering the history and nuanced perspectives on treaty law in both countries, as well as recent court decisions.
